Role Overview
We are hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR), based in India, to lead, manage, and scale a large US-focused inside sales organization.
This is a senior leadership role with direct ownership of revenue, forecasting, sales performance, and execution. While the sales team operates in the United States, this role ensures strong day-to-day execution, accountability, and performance management from India.
The role manages 5080+ quota-carrying US inside sales agents, supported by Sales Managers and Team Leads, and serves as the single point of accountability for sales outcomes.
This is not a coordination or support role this role owns numbers, people, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue & Sales Performance
- Own revenue targets, quota achievement, and forecasting accuracy for US inside sales
- Drive pipeline health, conversion rates, deal velocity, and close ratios
- Lead execution across inbound and outbound US sales campaigns
- Track and optimize CAC, LTV, rep productivity, and ramp timelines
- Leadership & Team Management (India-Based)
- Lead and manage 5080+ US-based inside sales reps remotely from India
- Directly manage Sales Managers, Team Leads, and Closers
- Set clear performance standards, accountability frameworks, and escalation paths
- Lead hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and retention of senior sales leaders
- Build a metrics-driven, high-accountability sales culture aligned with US expectations
- Sales Operations & Process Excellence
- Define, implement, and continuously optimize sales processes, scripts, KPIs, and playbooks
- Own CRM discipline and reporting accuracy (Salesforce / HubSpot / Zoho)
- Drive cadence-based reviews: daily dashboards, weekly forecasts, monthly performance reviews
- Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Management
- Partner closely with Marketing and Growth teams to improve lead quality and funnel efficiency
- Handle senior-level US client escalations and stakeholder interactions from India
- Ensure compliance with US sales standards, data privacy, and operational guidelines
Required Experience & Skills
Mandatory
- 1015 years of experience in US Inside Sales / International Sales Operations
- Proven experience managing large inside sales teams (50+ quota-carrying reps) from India
- Strong background in US BPO / international inside sales environments
- Direct ownership of revenue targets, forecasting, and performance outcomes
- Experience managing Sales Managers and Team Leads
- Deep understanding of US buyer psychology and closing motions
- Strong command of sales analytics, dashboards, and forecasting models
- Hands-on CRM experience (Salesforce / HubSpot / Zoho)
- Excellent English communication skills
- Comfortable working US night shifts while based in India
- Strong executive presence and authority
- Ability to drive performance remotely across time zones
- Comfortable making tough decisions on hiring, firing, and restructuring
