We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Development Representative (SDR) Intern to join our team. This role is open to students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals, who are eager to begin their career in sales, learn prospecting techniques, and gain hands-on experience in the B2B sales cycle.
As an SDR Intern, you will support the sales team by identifying potential leads, initiating conversations, cold calling and contributing to pipeline development.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential leads through online platforms, databases, and social channels.
- Initiate outbound prospecting through email, LinkedIn, and phone outreach to engage potential customers.
- Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to understand their needs and qualify them.
- Schedule meetings or demos for the sales team based on lead readiness.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and lead status in CRM tools.
- Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, data entry, and follow-ups.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to improve outreach strategies.
- Learn and apply best practices in lead generation and sales communication.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Any graduate or final-year student (preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related fields).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of sales concepts is a plus (training will be provided).
- Ability to research and gather information effectively.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce) — not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of LinkedIn outreach or email tools.
- Enthusiasm for technology, SaaS, or B2B solutions.
