About the Role
We are looking for a sharp, tech-comfortable Sales Development Manager who enjoys turning interest in data and AI into live sales conversations. This is not a script-reading roleit's your chance to own the moment when a data or AI lead becomes a serious opportunity.
Working hand-in-hand with our BDRs and Account Executives, you will own the entire MQL-to-SAL hand-off for Data & AI: cleaning and enriching every record, checking if the company and contact match our target profile, running focused phoneemailLinkedIn sequences, doing short discovery to understand their data and AI problems, and getting the right decision-makers onto an AE's calendarwith clear notes and a clean CRM.
You will work where good data, basic technical understanding, clear messaging, and steady activity meet. You'll have room to improve enrichment sheets, try new GenAI assistants, and share what you learn with Marketing and RevOpsso the Data & AI pipeline keeps moving and growing.

What You Will Do
Lead Intake & Prioritisation
- Review every inbound MQL and BDR lead and decide how relevant they are for our Data & AI offerings.
- Fill missing details such as location, company size, tech stack (cloud, main tools), and revenue range.
- Group leads into Hot, Warm, and Nurture lists and share gaps with Marketing and BDR teams.
Multi-Channel Outreach & Nurture
- Plan your daily phoneemailLinkedIn activities with 80% helpful value and 20% direct ask.
- Change your message based on who you are writing to (CIO, CDO, Head of Data/Analytics/AI, Engineering, Product) and what they may be doing (migration, modernization, AI projects).
- Test different subject lines, hooks, and timings to lift open, reply, and booked-meeting rates.
Discovery & Qualification
- Run short discovery calls to understand their data sources, key problems (silos, speed, quality, cost), AI use cases, urgency, and decision process.
- Connect their needs to what Coditas can dosuch as data platform builds, reporting and analytics, AI/ML work, or GenAI solutions.
- Write clear notes in the CRM so AEs walk into calls with full context on stack and needs.
Meeting Booking & Seamless Handoff
- Book meetings that work for both the prospect and AE; attach a simple one-page brief with company background, current stack, what they said, and what to cover next.
- Confirm attendance, send quick reminders, and share minutes of meeting within one working day when needed.
- Own meeting quality and SAL acceptance till the AE takes over.
CRM Hygiene & Pipeline Reporting
- Log every touchcall, email, messagein real time and keep MQL, SQL, SAL, Opportunity, and Deal stages accurate.
- Tag activities by source, channel, job role, and simple tech markers (cloud used, main data/AI tools).
- Share a clear weekly update on your Data & AI pipeline before the sales stand-up.
Continuous Improvement & Upskilling
- Try GenAI and small tools to speed up research on companies, people, and tech stacks.
- Share winning emails, common objections, and patterns you see in Data & AI deals so playbooks keep improving.
- Support BDRs when needed and track your own numbers to move faster toward AE or RevOps roles.

Desired Background
- Education Mandatory: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT (BE/BTech or equivalent). A Master's in Business / Analytics / Data Science is a plus. Certifications in cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), SQL, data engineering, or AI/ML/GenAI tools add strong weight.
- Experience 38 years converting buying signals into meetings and SALs within B2B Data / Analytics / AI / Cloud / Developer-tools / Data-platform SaaS or data-focused technology consulting. Clear evidence of high meeting-to-opportunity ratios with data, analytics, or platform buyers.
- Tool Fluency Daily user of Salesforce/HubSpot or similar CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, sequencing automation (email + LinkedIn), data-enrichment tools (ZoomInfo, Apollo, etc.), plus Excel/Sheets. Comfort reading or lightly using SQL/BI tools or API-based tools for data enrichment is a plus.
- Process Know-How Comfortable with ICP and persona scoring for data leaders (CIO, CDO, Head of Data/Analytics/AI), Hot/Warm/Nurture segmentation, and light qualification frameworks (BANT/ANUM). Understands why stages like MQL, SAL, SQL, Opportunity, and Deal matter, and can align them to data-platform and AI buying journeys.
