Sales Data Scientist in
India.
In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging advanced data science techniques to deliver actionable insights that drive sales, marketing, and customer success initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional Go-To-Market teams to translate business needs into robust analytical solutions and predictive models. Your expertise will help optimize sales strategies, enhance customer experience, and improve decision-making across the organization. The role requires collaboration with internal data providers, business stakeholders, and analytics teams to ensure high-quality data and impactful outcomes. Accountabilities
- Apply statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to large datasets to extract actionable insights supporting sales, marketing, and customer success initiatives.
- Collect, clean, and transform data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability.
- Develop, evaluate, and deploy predictive models to forecast trends and support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal GTM teams to define data requirements, success metrics, and integrate analytical solutions into existing processes.
- Communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Continuously improve analytical methods, tools, and workflows to enhance efficiency and impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline; Master's or Ph.D. preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data science, with hands-on experience in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or similar tools, including libraries for data manipulation (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and machine learning (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts, including regression, classification, clustering, and time series analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI to convey insights effectively.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, cross-functional environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
