Role Overview
As a Sales Counsellor at Jet Set Jobs, you are the first and most important human touchpoint for every prospective candidate. Your primary objective is to convert interested leads into enrolled students - by understanding their profile, addressing all their doubts, and guiding them confidently toward enrolling in our German language training programme and Germany/Austria placement journey.
This is not a passive information-sharing role. You are expected to be a trusted advisor, a confident closer, and a knowledgeable guide - all in one conversation.
Key Responsibilities
Conversion & Enrolment
- Handle inbound leads generated through Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and website - primarily GNM and BSc Nursing graduates
- Make prompt outbound calls to all assigned leads within the target response time
- Conduct structured counselling sessions - in person, over call, or via video - to understand the candidate's background, eligibility, and intent
- Present the Jet Set Jobs programme confidently - covering the training model, placement process, costs, timeline, and Germany/Austria opportunity
- Address all candidate objections and concerns with accuracy and empathy
- Drive enrolment by guiding candidates through the registration and deposit process
- Follow up consistently with warm leads until a clear decision is reached
- Maintain a strong conversion ratio from lead to enrolled candidate
Doubt Resolution & Candidate Guidance
- Thoroughly resolve all queries related to Germany and Austria - visa process, recognition of Indian nursing qualifications (Berufsanerkennung), salary, lifestyle, family reunification, and language requirements
- Clearly explain the German language training programme structure (A1 to B2), the TELC B2 exam, the MIS tracking system, and the Edmingle LMS
- Explain the refundable deposit model transparently and address any financial concerns
- Stay updated on Germany and Austria immigration, healthcare hiring trends, and JSJ's placement success stories to counsel with authority
- Identify candidate profiles best suited for direct job placements vs Ausbildung pathways and counsel accordingly
Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all leads, interactions, and follow-ups in the CRM (Zoho)
- Categorise leads by qualification, interest level, and stage in the funnel
- Coordinate with the training and documentation team to ensure smooth onboarding of newly enrolled candidates
- Share feedback from candidate conversations to help improve lead quality and marketing messaging
What We Are Looking For
Must Have
- Excellent spoken communication in Hindi and English - confident, clear, and warm
- Strong persuasion and objection-handling skills
- Genuine interest in overseas education, healthcare careers, or international recruitment
- Ability to learn and retain detailed information about Germany, Austria, nursing recognition processes, and the JSJ programme
- High ownership - follows up without being asked and closes without being pushed
- Proficiency in basic tools — WhatsApp, Google Sheets, CRM usage (Zoho preferred)
Good to Have
- Prior experience in education counselling, insurance sales, edtech sales, or overseas consultancy
- Familiarity with nursing/paramedical profiles
- Basic knowledge of German language or European job markets
- Experience using Facebook Leads or similar digital lead platforms
