Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Consultant – Pre-Owned Cars role based in Bengaluru. The Sales Consultant is responsible for engaging with prospective customers, understanding their requirements, and presenting suitable pre-owned vehicle options, including test drives and detailed product explanations. The role involves handling inquiries, negotiating prices and financing options, preparing quotations, and supporting the completion of sales documentation while adhering to company processes. The consultant will follow up with leads, maintain accurate records in dealership systems, and coordinate with internal teams such as finance, insurance, and service to ensure a seamless customer journey. The role also includes contributing to showroom merchandising, participating in promotional activities, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and professional conduct.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Sales Consulting and Consulting skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate pre-owned vehicle solutions.
- Candidates should demonstrate a focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, ensuring a positive buying experience and long-term relationship building.
- Candidates should have effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and confident interpersonal interaction.
- Relevant experience in automotive sales, especially pre-owned vehicles, is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of basic finance, insurance, and vehicle documentation processes is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, meet sales targets, and use dealership CRM or sales tools effectively.
- Minimum educational qualification: completion of secondary education; a diploma or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in local languages and English, and familiarity with the Bengaluru market, will be beneficial.
