Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Outbound Sales & Lead Generation

  • Execute daily cold calling campaigns targeting CAs, wealth managers, family offices, and HNIs
  • Qualify prospects quickly, identify pain points, and articulate iRecord's value proposition
  • Log all calls, interactions, and outcomes in CRM systems for pipeline tracking
  • Follow up consistently with prospects across multiple touchpoints (email, phone, WhatsApp)

Relationship Building & Discovery

  • Conduct initial discovery calls to understand prospect needs around portfolio accounting, compliance, and reporting
  • Present iRecord's core features in business terms
  • Tailor messaging for different buyer personas (CAs vs. wealth managers vs. HNIs)
  • Build rapport and establish trust with prospects

Trial Conversion & Sales Support

  • Guide qualified prospects through iRecord's product trial period
  • Answer technical and commercial questions to overcome objections
  • Collaborate with product and support teams to ensure smooth onboarding
  • Convert trial users into paying customers through follow-up and value reinforcement

Pipeline Management

  • Maintain an active, clean pipeline with multiple stages
  • Track KPIs including call volume, conversations, trial sign-ups, and conversion rates
  • Report on sales metrics and activity weekly
  • Identify trends and share feedback on market positioning

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Clear, confident communication; able to explain technical concepts in simple terms
  • Sales mindset—resilient, goal-oriented, comfortable with rejection
  • Meticulous with data entry, follow-ups, and CRM management
  • Basic understanding of accounting, portfolio management, and compliance concepts
  • Reliable, punctual, and accountable in remote/hybrid work
  • Proficiency with CRM software, Google Suite, and basic troubleshooting

NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior SaaS sales, B2B sales, or BPO experience
  • Familiarity with Indian accounting practices (GST, TDS, tax compliance)
  • Experience selling to accountants, wealth managers, or financial professionals
  • Knowledge of portfolio accounting platforms or investment software
  • Basic understanding of SEBI regulations or investment advisory
  • Bilingual skills (Hindi + English)
