Job Summary
Our client is looking for a customer-focused, trustworthy, and energetic Sales Executive & Cashier with experience in jewellery retail. The ideal candidate should have strong sales skills, billing and cash handling experience, and working knowledge of Tally ERP for maintaining financial records and day-to-day transactions.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales
- Welcome customers and provide an exceptional shopping experience.
- Understand customer requirements and assist them in selecting suitable jewellery.
- Explain product features, purity, certifications, pricing, making charges, and ongoing offers.
- Achieve individual and showroom sales targets.
- Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
- Maintain attractive product displays and showroom standards.
- Handle customer queries and resolve concerns professionally.
Cashier & Accounts
- Generate accurate invoices using billing/POS software.
- Handle cash, UPI, debit/credit cards, and other payment transactions.
- Perform daily cash reconciliation and maintain billing records.
- Record sales and payment transactions in Tally ERP.
- Prepare daily sales reports and coordinate with the Accounts team.
- Ensure accuracy in cash handling and financial records.
Inventory & Operations
- Assist in stock verification and inventory management.
- Ensure proper handling and security of jewellery items.
- Support showroom opening and closing activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and follow showroom policies and security procedures.
Required Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in a jewellery showroom.
- Working knowledge of Tally ERP (mandatory).
- Experience with jewellery billing/POS software.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Good cash handling and billing accuracy.
- Ability to achieve sales targets.
- Honest, well-groomed, and professional.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Educational Qualification
- Minimum: PUC (12th Pass).
- Graduate preferred.
