Role Overview

As an Sales & Business Development Representative, you will support the growth of ServdYou by helping us connect with companies looking to hire talent. You will work closely with the sales leadership team to identify opportunities, engage potential clients, and help onboard companies onto our platform. This is an excellent entry-level role for individuals interested in building a career in Sales, Business Development, Account Management, or Startup Operations.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development:

  • Generate qualified leads for the sales team.
  • Identify and reach out to potential clients (startups, SMEs, HR teams) through email, LinkedIn, and calls.
  • Conduct introductory product walkthroughs or demos.

Account Support

  • Assist in onboarding companies onto the ServdYou platform.
  • Help maintain relationships with existing clients.
  • Track communication and follow-ups through CRM tools.

Market Research

  • Research companies that are actively hiring.
  • Build and maintain prospect lists.
  • Identify new market opportunities.

Sales Support

  • Schedule meetings and demos for senior sales team members.
  • Support proposal preparation and client communication.
  • Assist with tracking sales pipeline and reporting.

What We're Looking For

Basic Requirements:

  • 8 - 18 months of work experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident and professional presentation
  • Strong interest in sales, startups, or business development

Skills (MUST HAVE)

  • Good spoken and written English
  • Comfortable speaking with clients over phone and video calls
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational and follow-up skills

Preferred (but not mandatory)

  • Internship experience in sales, marketing, or customer-facing roles
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn or CRM tools
  • Interest in HR tech, recruitment, or SaaS platforms
