Job Description

AdBanana is solving the photoshoot. Every Indian D2C and fashion brand has the same broken pipeline - inventory lands, sits 3 to 6 weeks waiting for a shoot, model dates push, studio bookings slip, and SKUs go live on the website and on Myntra, Ajio, Nykaa weeks after the buying window opened. By the time the product is shot, half the size curve has aged into dead stock.

We replace that pipeline with software. AI photoshoots and product videos for PDP and marketplaces, shipped in hours instead of weeks. ₹40 per image instead of ₹1000-₹1500. No model booking, no studio dependency, no shoot day cancellations.

The brands that fix this in the next 6-12 months will get 4-6 extra weeks of selling life per SKU. That's the conversation you'll be having on every call.

What you'll actually do

  • Make 150 calls a day to D2C and fashion brand decision-makers. E-commerce heads, operations heads, founders, marketplace managers, studio heads. This is a phone-first role. If 150 dials a day sounds like a lot, this isn't the place.
  • Open the call with their actual pain - how long their last shoot took, how many SKUs are sitting unshot, what their cost per image is, what their time-to-live looks like on Myntra and Ajio.
  • Qualify hard. Book demos for AEs only when the pain and budget are real.
  • Own your pipeline end-to-end in Zoho CRM. We don't chase you for updates, the system does.
  • Sit in on AE demos and closing calls so you learn how the deal actually gets done.
  • Help us figure out what works. Scripts, sequences, ICP filters - you'll have a real voice in this.

What this is not

  • It is not a desk job where you send 200 LinkedIn DMs and hope. We pick up the phone, every day, 150 times.
  • It is not a place where you hide behind email when the call gets hard.
  • It is not a 12-month grind to a ₹5k raise. The fast-track to AE is real and we have promoted people inside 6-9 months.

Who we're looking for

  • 1-2 years in SDR, BDR, or inside sales with real outbound calling volume in your last role. If your last job was 20 calls a day and a lot of warm leads, this will be a step up.
  • You can hold a conversation with a fashion brand founder in English and Hindi. Comfort in one regional language is a bonus.
  • You understand or can learn fast how an Indian D2C brand actually operates. What a buying cycle looks like, why marketplace listing deadlines matter, why dead inventory hurts cash flow, what a model booking actually costs.
  • You take rejection well. 100+ no's a day doesn't rattle you because you're playing for the next one.
  • You write clean, short, specific emails. Not I hope this email finds you well.
  • You're curious about the brands you're calling. You've heard of House of Rare. You know what Masaba sells. You follow what's happening in Indian fashion.

Compensation

Market base, high variable, uncapped. The honest version: if you don't hit, you'll earn modestly. If you hit your number, you'll out-earn most 3-year SDRs in Bangalore. If you blow past your number, there's no ceiling and we will not change the plan on you mid-year.

Specifics shared in the first conversation. We are deliberately commission-heavy because we want people who back themselves.

The fast-track to AE

We are scaling the sales team aggressively over the next 12 months. The clearest path to becoming an AE at AdBanana is being an SDR here first. We promote internally before we hire externally. If you hit quota for two consecutive quarters and clear the AE bar in interview, the role is yours.

Logistics

  • 5 days in-office, Bangalore.
  • Reports to the founder for now. You'll get more access to leadership than you would at any 200-person company.
