We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for the role of Business Development Manager - EV Products) - Ahmedabad to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 4 to 14+ years of experience. Should be from Electrical Industry (preferably EV Charger Manufacturer OR Charging Cable Manufacturer), Who are working with Business Development & Sales team of auto OEM / Charger OEM.
About the Role
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving profitable business growth, managing customer relationships, and leading sales and innovation efforts for EV products.
Responsibilities
- Profitable Business Growth - Existing & New
- Responsible Pre-selling activity and technology presentation at his/her Customer - Existing Customer New Products & New Customer Existing Product / New Product Line for RFQ generation / LOI.
- Lead and conclude all commercial negotiations & recoveries including Price, Development Cost, Terms and Conditions at his/her customer.
- Responsible to capturing RFQ specific insights including Competition info, Target price, CIM, customer expectations at his/her customer.
- Take active lead in Customer Tech Review along with Engg. / R&D team for his/her customer.
- Responsible for Submission of legal and commercial documents and regular updates on development progress.
- Responsible for standardization of Business terms - Payment Terms, Delivery terms, Terms of Contract for Company at respective Customer.
- Market & Customer Strategy
- Drive Customer/Product Strategy and action plan to win new Business for respective Customer as per Company Goals and Target.
- Develop & execute action Plan to win new business for Profitable Growth of Company EV products for respective Customer.
- Responsible for mapping of Key Vitals including Customer Potential, Competitor Mapping, Customer Future Models for EV products for respective Customer.
- Map and monitor Customer Technology Trend Analysis and chalk out product strategy for respective Customer.
- Leading Sales & Innovation at Customer
- Responsible Pre-Selling activities for all EV Products with Customer specific Innovation event (Tech Seminar, Tech Day).
- Lead System sales for all EV products at his respective Customer in Domestic / Global Market.
- Customer Engagement
- Customer Organization Man Mapping.
- Execute Customer Relationship Management strategy and actions as per plan.
- Execute and Organize Top Management QCDD Meetings at Customer.
- Responsible for handling Customer/Internal Escalations & its resolution (across multiple domains).
Qualifications
Over 4 to 14+ years of experience in the Electrical Electronics or Mechanical Industry, preferably with EV Charger Manufacturer or Charging Cable Manufacturer.
Required Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in mentoring teams.
- Strong knowledge of competitor products and cost optimization techniques.
Preferred Skills
Experience in Business Development & Sales team of auto OEM / Charger OEM.
Pay range and compensation package
Lucrative Incentive as per performance, 5 days working, flexible shift as well.
