About the Role
We are looking for a highly energetic and execution-oriented Business Development Intern candidates who can help expand the Zeerostock network by identifying opportunities, onboarding stakeholders, and driving marketplace growth.
This role combines sales, market research, lead generation, relationship building, and business coordination.
You will work directly with the core team to onboard:
- Buyers
- Suppliers
- Liquidation partners
- Vendors and industry contacts
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys speaking to people, understanding businesses, solving problems, and working in a fast-moving startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales
- Identify and connect with potential buyers, suppliers, and liquidation partners
- Generate leads through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and market research
- Pitch Zeerostock's services and explain platform value propositions clearly
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with stakeholders
- Follow up consistently to drive onboarding and conversions
Lead Generation & Outreach
- Research companies, industries, and potential business opportunities
- Maintain lead databases and update outreach progress regularly
- Send cold emails, LinkedIn outreach messages, and make outbound calls
- Coordinate meetings and business discussions with prospective clients
Marketplace Growth
- Support onboarding of buyers and suppliers onto the platform
- Understand client inventory requirements and sourcing needs
- Help build strategic partnerships within relevant industries
- Gather market insights and competitor intelligence
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate internally with operations and product teams
- Track outreach metrics, onboarding progress, and conversions
- Prepare reports and updates on business development activities
- Maintain organized documentation and CRM records

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Commerce, or related fields preferred

- Basic understanding of sales and business development processes
- Ability to research industries and identify opportunities
- Familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM tools is a plus
- Prior internship or sales experience is a plus, but not mandatory
