With 32 years in business, the company works across branding, marketing support, presentations, proposals, digital lead generation support, client communication and business development enablement.

The Business Development function is expected to act as the front line of the company: identifying opportunities, speaking to prospects, qualifying leads, understanding requirements, preparing client-facing material and ensuring that the management team has clear visibility on every lead and business opportunity.

These roles are designed to work together. The Field BDE is responsible for on-ground client visits, prospecting and market-level lead qualification, while the In-House BDE Coordinator acts as the central lead-control, communication and reporting anchor from the office.

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced, disciplined and field-oriented Business Development Executive who can represent the company in the Mumbai market, meet clients personally, qualify leads properly and help convert enquiries into active business opportunities.

This is a hands-on field role. The person will be expected to travel across Mumbai, conduct client visits, follow up on Meta-generated leads, understand client requirements, assess lead quality and coordinate closely with the In-House BDE Coordinator so that every lead is properly tracked and acted upon.

The role requires someone who is comfortable being on the ground, speaking to clients, identifying market opportunities, preparing basic presentation material and reporting updates clearly. It is not a passive calling role. It requires movement, follow-through, discipline and ownership.

Key Responsibilities
A. Client Visits and Field Marketing

·       Conduct regular client visits across Mumbai as per business requirement, lead priority and scheduled

plans.

·       Represent the company professionally during on-site client meetings, market visits and business

discussions.

·       Meet prospects personally to understand their requirements, interest level, decision-making stage and

business potential.

·       Create confidence in the company through clear communication, punctuality, preparedness and

professional conduct.

·       Identify new business opportunities through field prospecting, market movement, local contacts and

client references.

·       Build visibility for the company in the assigned market by staying active and present in relevant client

circles.

·       Share ground-level market feedback with the In-House BDE Coordinator and management team.

B. Lead Management and Follow-Up

·       Call and follow up on Meta-generated leads, including leads from Facebook, Instagram and other

campaign sources.

·       Coordinate with the In-House BDE Coordinator for lead allocation, lead priority, appointment

scheduling and lead status updates.

·       Qualify leads based on client need, urgency, budget indication, seriousness and business potential.

·       Avoid treating all leads equally; separate serious prospects from weak or low-priority enquiries.

·       Maintain consistent follow-up without allowing promising leads to go cold.

·       Escalate high-potential leads quickly so that management or senior team members can be involved

where required.

·       Track the progress of each lead from first contact to meeting, proposal, follow-up and closure stage.

C. Requirement Understanding and Lead Qualification

·       Understand the client's business requirement before asking for proposal preparation.

·       Ask practical questions about the client's need, expected work, timeline, budget range, urgency and

decision process.

·       Assess whether the client is genuinely interested or only casually enquiring.

·       Capture clear notes after every client discussion or market visit.

·       Share structured lead qualification inputs with the In-House BDE Coordinator.

·       Help the internal team understand what the client needs, what was discussed and what next action is

required.

·       Ensure client requirements are not passed internally in an incomplete or confusing manner.

D. Reporting and Documentation

·       Report all lead updates, call outcomes, meeting feedback and visit summaries to the In-House BDE

Coordinator.

·       Maintain discipline in updating the sales sheet with lead status, follow-up date, meeting outcome and

next action.

·       Document lead qualification details based on actual market visits and client conversations.

·       Submit daily or weekly field updates as required by the management team.

·       Ensure that all client-facing movement is visible to the office team and not dependent on memory or

informal updates.

·       Maintain transparency on weak leads, delayed responses, lost opportunities and promising prospects.

·       Support a clean and reliable sales pipeline by keeping records updated.

E. Presentations, Proposals and Client-Facing Material

·       Prepare professional PowerPoint presentations for client meetings and pitches where required.

·       Create or assist in creating structured business proposals based on client needs and internal inputs.

·       Coordinate with the In-House BDE Coordinator for proposal templates, company documents,

brochures and supporting material.

·       Make sure that proposal submissions are timely and aligned with what was discussed with the client.

·       Track client responses after proposal submission and ensure follow-ups are done regularly.

·       Support the preparation of meeting material so that client conversations are not casual or

unprepared.

·       Use presentations and proposals to create credibility and move the client toward a serious business

discussion.

F. Sales Discipline and Coordination

·       Manage field schedule independently while staying aligned with the In-House BDE Coordinator.

·       Priorities serious leads and high-potential client meetings.

·       Coordinate meeting schedules, visit plans and follow-up actions in a timely manner.

·       Ensure that the in-house team has all updates required to maintain the central lead record.

·       Work closely with internal stakeholders so that client requirements are understood and acted upon.

·       Maintain discipline in calls, visits, follow-ups, documentation and reporting.

·       Take ownership of field-level outcomes instead of merely completing visits.

·       Strong field coverage across Mumbai with regular client meetings and meaningful prospect

interactions.

·       Clear qualification of Meta-generated and other inbound leads.

·       Timely and accurate reporting of visit outcomes, follow-ups and lead status.

·       Improved conversion of raw leads into serious enquiries, proposals and business opportunities.

·       Professional presentations and proposals that support stronger client conversations.

·       Smooth coordination between field activity and in-house lead management.

Candidate Profile
Experience

·       Minimum 8–10 years of experience in field sales, business development, client acquisition or field

marketing.

·       Experience in service selling, marketing-led sales, client visits or lead conversion roles will be

preferred.

·       Experience handling leads generated through digital campaigns such as Meta Ads will be an

advantage.

Skills and Capabilities

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing interactions.

·       Ability to conduct client visits independently and represent the company professionally.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for client presentations and proposals.

·       Comfort with Excel or sales-sheet management for lead tracking and reporting.

·       Ability to qualify leads and assess business potential during field visits.

·       Basic understanding of CRM-style lead tracking and follow-up discipline.

·       Ability to prepare structured notes, visit summaries and client updates.

·       Familiarity with Meta Ads or social-media lead-generation platforms will be useful.

Reporting Structure

·       Reports to the In-House BDE Coordinator / Lead Coordinator for all lead updates, visit reports, client

status, follow-up records and marketing coordination.

·       Works closely with management and internal teams wherever proposal, presentation or client

escalation support is required.
