Role Description The Sales Associate role at Zealous Ventures is a full-time, on-site position based in Tamil Nadu, India. The Sales Associate will welcome customers (Store owners), understand their needs, and recommend suitable products that match their needs

Daily responsibilities include demonstrating product features, maintaining store displays, handling customer inquiries, and processing sales transactions accurately. The role also involves managing inventory, assisting with merchandising, and supporting promotional activities to drive store revenue. The Sales Associate will collaborate with the store team to ensure a positive, efficient, and customer-focused retail environment.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers and build relationships.
• Sales and retail experience, including product recommendation, upselling, and handling point-of-sale systems.
• Basic communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in spoken and written English; local language skills are an advantage.
• Interest in fitness, sportswear, or fashion, with the ability to understand and explain product features and benefits.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to maintain organized displays and accurate inventory records.
• Ability to work on-site in Tamil Nadu, India, including weekends and peak business hours as needed.
• Prior retail or apparel experience is beneficial; a high school diploma or equivalent education is preferred.
