Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Associate role based in Hyderabad. The Sales Associate will be responsible for promoting and selling the company's educational publications and solutions to schools, institutions, distributors, and retailers. Day-to-day activities include meeting prospective and existing clients, presenting product offerings, conducting product demonstrations, and following up on leads to achieve sales targets. The role involves regular field visits, maintaining accurate records of sales activities, preparing basic sales reports, and coordinating with internal teams for order processing and timely delivery. The Sales Associate will also gather market feedback, support marketing initiatives such as events or school visits, and contribute to building strong, long-term customer relationships.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities, with a track record or clear interest in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain educational products clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Customer relationship management skills, including follow-up, account servicing, and issue resolution.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office or similar tools for maintaining records, preparing simple reports, and managing documentation.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a target-driven environment.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; a background in business, marketing, or education is an advantage.
- Prior experience in publishing, education, or FMCG sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- Comfortable with local travel in and around Hyderabad; familiarity with the regional education market is a plus.
