Sales Associate Textile Trading (Surat)

Company Overview

We are an established textile trading company based in Surat with 20+ years of experience. We work closely with mills, job workers, and fabric traders and are now strengthening our client-facing fabric handling team.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced textile professional who understands fabric qualities, job work processes, and trader requirements, and can independently handle fabric samples and client interactions. This is not a fresher or pure sales role. Prior hands-on experience in the Surat textile ecosystem is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle fabric samples and present them to traders and clients
• Understand and explain fabric qualities, construction, fall, and suitability for job work
• Collect client feedback and communicate requirements clearly to internal teams
• Support repeat business by maintaining strong client relationships
• Assist in resolving quality or processing-related concerns professionally

Required Experience & Skills

• Prior experience in textile trading, brokerage, mill coordination, or job work handling
• Strong understanding of fabric types (e.g., chiffon, georgette, satin, etc.)
• Familiarity with Surat textile markets and working practices
• Comfortable interacting with traders and handling samples independently
• Practical, on-ground experience preferred over formal qualifications

Compensation

• Fixed salary Rs 25,000
