Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Associate role located in Guwahati. The Sales Associate will be responsible for assisting customers with product selection, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining in-depth knowledge of the store's inventory. Daily responsibilities include processing transactions, restocking shelves, organizing displays, and collaborating with the sales team to meet store sales targets. The role also involves handling customer inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction with purchases and services.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in Customer Service, Communication, and Interpersonal Interactions
- Knowledge or experience in Sales Techniques and Product Presentation
- Ability to handle Cash Registers, Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, and basic Inventory Management
- Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution skills to address customer concerns effectively
- Time Management and Organizational skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- High level of Accountability and Initiative to handle responsibilities proactively
- Previous retail experience or familiarity with the home decor industry is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
