Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Professional to spearhead the growth of our document scanner portfolio in the Indian market.
You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing channel partners, and also delivering tailored digitization solutions to B2B clients.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development: Generate leads through cold-calling, networking, and digital outreach to target industries like Education, Healthcare, BFSI, Judiciary/Law, Manufacturing, Telecom, Defence, Government, Logistics, Retail/ SME segments.
Solution Selling: Conduct product demonstrations for various type of Scanners such as Mobile / Portable, Workgroup, Heavy Duty (Workgroup & Production) ADF scanners, Overhead, Flatbed Scanners. Product range starting from Visiting Card to Large Format A0 Scanners. Align and collaborate with ISV's to integrate their solutions.
Channel Management: Develop and maintain relationships with dealers, distributors, and system integrators to expand Pan-India market reach.
Tender & RFQ Management: Identify and respond to Government e-Marketplace (GeM) tenders and other public sector tenders or private RFQs with accurate technical and commercial proposals.
CRM & Reporting: sales pipelines, forecasting, and customer interactions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's / Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or IT.
Experience: 2–5 years in IT hardware or B2B sales; prior experience with scanners (e.g., Ricoh (Fujitsu), Kodak Alaris, HP, Canon, Epson) is a strong advantage.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of scanning software (TWAIN drivers, OCR), and hardware parameters like PPM/IPM and ADF capacity.
Communication: Fluent in English and at least one local language to build rapport with diverse clients across India.
Attributes: Strong negotiation skills, self-motivated to meet quarterly targets, and willingness to travel for onsite client visits.
