Role Description The Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Kalyan. The role involves identifying and engaging prospective home loan customers, explaining affordable housing finance products, and supporting them through the end-to-end loan application process. The Sales Associate will conduct field visits, build relationships with local communities and partners, and follow up on leads to achieve individual and branch sales targets. Daily responsibilities include customer needs assessment, documentation assistance, coordination with credit and operations teams, and maintaining accurate records in internal systems. The role also requires adherence to regulatory and company policies, participation in branch-level marketing activities, and providing high-quality service that reflects Grihum's values.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and customer relationship skills, with the ability to identify prospects, build trust, and convert leads into successful home loan customers.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal abilities, including clear verbal and written communication in local language(s) and English where required.
  • Basic financial and analytical understanding, with the capacity to explain loan products, assess customer eligibility, and handle documentation accurately.
  • Comfort with digital tools and systems, including using mobile apps, CRM platforms, and standard office software for customer data and reporting.
  • Proactive field-working mindset, including willingness to conduct regular customer visits and engage with communities in and around Kalyan.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with branch colleagues and cross-functional teams, while managing time and priorities independently.
  • Prior experience in sales, housing finance, banking, NBFCs, or related sectors is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Minimum educational qualification typically at the undergraduate level; relevant diplomas or certifications in finance or sales are an advantage.
