Role Description The Sales Associate role at Bite Me Charters is a full-time, on-site position located in Port Blair. In this role, the Sales Associate will greet and assist walk-in customers, respond to inquiries about charter services, and present available packages and pricing. The Sales Associate will handle purchase ,payments, maintain accurate sales records, and follow up with customers to confirm details and schedules. Daily tasks include coordinating with the operations team, Logistics of materials, and supporting basic administrative activities related to sales. The role requires consistent in-person interaction, professional communication, and a focus on delivering a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously with diverse clients.
Experience in retail, tourism, hospitality, or sales environments, including handling inquiries, bookings, and payment transactions.
Basic administrative and organizational skills, including record-keeping, scheduling, and attention to detail.
Comfort working on-site in a marine or tourism setting, with a professional and reliable work ethic.
Proficiency in spoken and written English; additional language skills are an asset.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on operational needs.
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, tourism, or a related field is an advantage.
