Sales Assistant

We believe our people are our most important asset, offering a dynamic and international working environment with continuous development opportunities. Due to our expansion in India, we are looking to reinforce our Sales team by incorporating a Sales Assistant based in Mumbai.

Your Role

• Support the Sales team in the Indian market with daily commercial and operational activities
• Follow up on orders and keep customers informed about order status
• Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, purchasing, finance, etc.) to ensure timely execution of orders
• Manage customer requests related to samples, documentation, and product information
• Handle and prepare documentation such as invoices, packing lists, COAs, and other relevant documents
• Maintain and update customer data in ERP systems
• Support new customer onboarding and account setup
• Handle customer queries and ensure timely and professional responses
• Assist in preparing sales reports and tracking commercial activity
• Support the resolution of customer complaints in coordination with the Sales team

Your Skills

• 2–4 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or commercial operations
• Experience in the chemical industry, flavors & fragrances, or related sectors is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field
• Experience with ERP systems (Navision is a plus)
• Fluent English (mandatory)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• High attention to detail and customer-oriented mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
