WE ARE HIRING | Subject Matter Expert – English (SME)
Location: Bengaluru
Employment Type: Full-time
Department: Content
Experience: 1–5 Years (Freshers with strong subject knowledge may also apply)

We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert – English to join our Content Team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and validate English curriculum concept maps across grades.
- Ensure curriculum alignment with NCERT/CBSE, ICSE/ISC, State Boards, Cambridge and IB.
- Create and validate assessments, including MCQs, short and long-answer questions, comprehension passages and writing tasks.
- Develop rubrics and marking schemes for writing and literature assessments.
- Upload and validate assessments on the in-house CMS.
- Review content for accuracy, language quality, ambiguity and curriculum relevance.
- Collaborate with academic, technology and quality assurance teams.
Requirements:
- 1–5 years of experience in teaching, curriculum design or content development.
- Strong command of English grammar, vocabulary, writing and literature.
- Knowledge of Indian and international school curricula.
- Excellent editing, proofreading and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Good to Have:
- Experience with CMS/LMS platforms.
- Knowledge of KaTeX/LaTeX, HTML or Markdown.
- Experience in EdTech, publishing or assessment development.
