Role Description
As a Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in converting prospects to customers for products like home plans and house construction. You will be responsible for addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues and providing support through various communication channels including phone, email and whatsapp. This role requires a combination of excellent communication skills, problem solving abilities and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service. this is a WFO role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Interface & Interactions
- Connect with Prospects and Sell the products or services
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
- Assist customers in selecting the most suitable home plans, guiding them about customisation options, pricing and features based on their requirements and preferences.
- Provide accurate and comprehensive information about products, services and policies.
- Act as a bridge between customers and inhouse service partners and ensure smooth work flows.
Product Knowledge
- Develop a deep understanding of the company's home plans, features and customization options.
- Provide accurate and detailed information about home plan products and processes to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
- Stay informed about industry trends and updates to effectively assist customers.
Communication
- Clearly and effectively communicate with customers, providing empathetic and personalized support.
- Document customer interactions and feedback to assist in improving processes and services.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Keep customers informed of any delays or issues that may impact their shopping experience.
Collaboration & Teamwork
- Collaborate with the marketing team to generate quotes, track orders and ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Work closely with the design team to clarify customer requirements for custom home plans and ensure the designs meet customer expectations.
Quality Assurance / Issue Resolution
- Gather customer feedback and insights to contribute to the continuous improvement of our offering.
- Monitor and assess the quality of customer interactions to identify areas for improvement.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and efficiently.
- Identify trends in customer issues and proactively suggest improvements to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Collaborate with the teams to address recurring customer concerns and implement solutions.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance customer service skills and stay informed about company policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of customer support processes.
Documentation
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and issue resolutions.
- Provide regular reports(xls based) on customer feedback and common concerns to the management team.
Qualifications
SKILL SETS & EXPERIENCE
- Any Bachelor's Degree with specialization in sales
- Proven experience of 1 - 3 yrs in a customer/sales support role, preferably in an ecommerce environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong problem solving abilities, attention to detail and a proactive approach to customer issues.
- Positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle a high volume of customer inquiries.
- Knowledge of home planning, architecture or construction is a plus.
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms and order management systems.
- Proficiency in using customer support software and tools.
- Work timings are for 48 hours per week. MON-Sat.
- Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed.
