Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales Growth
- Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities across pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, formulation, and related industries to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue growth targets and market expansion objectives for API products.
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle including lead generation, prospect qualification, opportunity development, quotation management, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Conduct market intelligence activities to identify industry trends, competitive developments, customer requirements, and emerging business opportunities.
- Develop territory-wise and product-wise business plans for domestic and international markets.
- Collaborate with R&D, Production, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams to understand product capabilities and communicate compelling value propositions to customers.
- Monitor customer demand forecasts and coordinate internally to support business opportunities and supply planning.
Exhibition & Trade Fair Management
- Plan, organize, and coordinate participation in domestic and international exhibitions, trade fairs, conferences, and industry networking events.
- Represent the organization professionally at industry events and promote company capabilities and API product offerings.
- Coordinate exhibition logistics including booth planning, marketing collateral, sample management, event schedules, and customer meetings.
- Generate, qualify, and follow up on business leads generated through exhibitions and convert them into sales opportunities.
- Maintain records of event performance, lead conversions, and ROI analysis.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term business relationships with existing customers, distributors, and prospective clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, quotations, order status, and commercial discussions.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions aligned with business needs.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely communication, proactive support, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of customer requirements and commitments.
Marketing & Brand Promotion
- Develop and execute marketing initiatives to strengthen company visibility and product positioning within target markets.
- Prepare and maintain marketing materials including:
- Product brochures
- Corporate presentations
- Product profiles
- Case studies
- Technical documents
- Digital marketing content
- Support website content management and digital platforms to enhance company and product visibility.
- Assist in social media and digital outreach initiatives where applicable.
- Monitor and evaluate campaign effectiveness and recommend improvements to maximize engagement and business outcomes.
Reporting & Business Analysis
- Prepare periodic sales forecasts, pipeline reports, customer activity reports, and market intelligence summaries.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to:
- Sales performance
- Lead generation
- Customer engagement
- Market development initiatives
- Analyze business trends and provide recommendations to improve sales effectiveness and market penetration.
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records within CRM systems and internal databases.
Cross Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Regulatory, Production, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure seamless customer servicing and order execution.
- Support documentation requirements related to customer onboarding, audits, samples, and commercial processes.
- Assist management with strategic initiatives for new market development and product expansion.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–3 years of experience in API/Pharmaceutical business development, sales, or international marketing
- Experience in handling domestic and/or international pharmaceutical customers preferred
