Role Overview
The Sales & Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in strengthening Machine Maker's presence in the manufacturing ecosystem. This role demands strong networking capabilities, strategic thinking, and a passion for engaging with industry leaders. The candidate will drive interviews, stories, partnerships, and client relationships while contributing directly to business development and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Industry Networking & Relationship Building
Actively network with manufacturers, industry leaders, and innovators across India.
Identify potential interviewees and story subjects aligned with Machine Maker's editorial vision.
Nurture relationships with stakeholders to build long-term engagement with Machine Maker.
Maintain regular communication with industry professionals to assess collaboration opportunities.
2. Business Development Strategy
Develop outreach and engagement strategies after establishing new industry connections.
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities within the manufacturing ecosystem.
Collaborate with internal teams to convert networking leads into business partnerships.
Support strategic campaigns, collaborations, and special editorial projects.
3. Client Pitching & Lead Generation
Conduct cold calls, outreach messages, and follow-up communication to generate leads.
Visit customer facilities to pitch Machine Maker offerings, including stories, videos, partnerships, and expos.
Prepare tailored pitches and proposals to convert prospects into clients.
Manage and track lead funnels to ensure consistent business growth.
4. Brand Representation
Represent Machine Maker as the brand ambassador at exhibitions, partner events, networking meets, and industry gatherings.
Participate in partnership projects, ensuring Machine Maker's presence and value proposition is clearly communicated.
Build community visibility and enhance the brand's credibility in the manufacturing sector.
5. Revenue Generation
Actively contribute to achieving revenue targets across editorial, video, partnership, and marketing projects.
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Coordinate with the delivery and editorial teams to ensure smooth execution of client projects that drive revenue impact.
6. Client Coordination & Customer Happiness
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
Address client needs, feedback, and concerns promptly to ensure seamless service experience.
Maintain client satisfaction through proactive communication and relationship management.
Coordinate with internal departments to deliver commitments on time and with high quality.
