About the RoleNamakwali is looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Sales & Marketing Intern to lead our Delhi retail expansion. This is not a typical internshipyou will be responsible for researching the Delhi FMCG market, identifying key retail chains, and executing onboarding strategies.
You will work directly with the founding team and play a crucial role in building Namakwali's offline presence.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth market research to identify:
- Top organic stores, premium grocery outlets, and retail chains in Delhi
- Potential distributors and stockists
- Create a target list of high-value retail partners (Modern Trade + General Trade)
- Reach out and schedule meetings with store owners, category managers, and purchase teams
- Pitch and present Namakwali products effectively to onboard them
- Negotiate:
- Product listings
- Shelf placements
- Commercial terms
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers
- Collect on-ground feedback on pricing, packaging, competition, and customer preferences
- Assist in executing local marketing activations and promotions
Requirements- Based in Delhi with good knowledge of local markets
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Good negotiation and persuasion ability
- Confident in presentations and pitching
- Self-driven, proactive, and execution-focused
