Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and technically sound Sales & Marketing Executive with strong experience in the steel or fabrication industry. The candidate will be responsible for business development, client handling, technical sales, and achieving revenue targets while ensuring long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Sales

· Identify and develop new business opportunities across construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors

· Generate leads from contractors, EPC companies, and corporate clients

· Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth

· Explore new markets and expand client base

2. Technical Sales & Client Handling

· Understand client requirements, drawings, and specifications

· Provide technical guidance on steel products and fabricated items

· Explain product features, applications, and benefits to customers

· Conduct client meetings, site visits, and product presentations

3. Tender & Quotation Management

· Prepare quotations, pricing, and cost analysis

· Participate in government and private tenders in coordination with the tender team

· Review BOQs and ensure alignment with client requirements

4. Client Relationship & Coordination

· Maintain strong relationships with existing clients for repeat business

· Follow up on enquiries, quotations, and order closures

· Coordinate with internal departments (production, logistics)

· Ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction

5. Market Research & Strategy

· Conduct market research and competitor analysis

· Identify industry trends and business opportunities

· Support marketing initiatives and promotional activities

6. Reporting & Documentation

· Maintain records of enquiries, sales, and client interactions

· Prepare regular sales reports and performance updates

· Track payments and coordinate for collections

Technical Competencies

· Strong knowledge of steel products and fabricated structures

· Understanding of structural sections, plates, pipes, and industrial materials

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOQs

· Familiarity with tendering process and industrial sales cycle

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

· Graduate with relevant industry experience may also apply

Experience:

· Minimum 2-5 years in Sales & Marketing (Steel / Fabrication Industry preferred)

Required Skills

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills

· Strong client handling and relationship management

· Target-oriented and result-driven approach

· Good knowledge of MS Excel and reporting

· Ability to coordinate across departments
