Sales and estimation
An HVAC Sales & Estimation Engineer is responsible for identifying customer needs, designing and selling HVAC systems, and ensuring customer satisfaction through technical support and project coordination. They may also be involved in preparing quotes, providing technical presentations, and tracking sales performance.
* Go into SEZs and find out about upcoming industries, Pharma factories etc
Identifying customer needs and tailoring HVAC solutions.
Develop accurate, timely and cost-effective estimates of labor and materials for engineering projects. 2. Research and analyze technical drawings, blueprints, specifications and other documents to accurately determine project scope, schedule and cost estimates
Providing product demonstrations
Developing and managing sales proposals and contracts.
Negotiating and closing sales deals.
Technical Support:
* Doing heat load
* Providing technical expertise to customers and sales teams.
Offering product training and support.
Collaborating with engineers and installers to ensure successful project implementation.
Moving in the market and generating new enquiries / leads
Meet architects , consultants and pmcs
Budgeting and estimation OF ALL INCOMING TENDERS ON TIME
Stay updated about the new trends coming in market for both hvac and mepf works
Keep costing sheets updated for all the materials and supplies and share with all in the sales and estimation or planning team
Tracking sales target and updating management about the same
Keeping track of all the ongoing enquiries or quotes submitted with continuous talk with customers and updating management about their status
Updating enquiries and status in companies CRM / Excel sheet daily
Utilise cost methodologies and tools and appropriate software models and packages to prepare and maintain reliable and accurate data
Liaise with stakeholders and support management decisions by providing appropriate cost information and data
Provide cost estimates during change process and advise of cost impact of changes. Track and monitor activity
Work with stakeholders to ensure estimates are accurate and to make appropriate adjustments and resolve issues
Analyse supplier quotes and provide information and data, which aids communications with suppliers and customers and achieves cost optimisation.
Ensure supplier quotations should meet cost estimates
Support supplier meetings and negotiations to challenge quotation prices and aim for cost reductions to meet target costs
Support and utilise experience to aid best practice in the supplier process in conjunction with members of the purchasing team
Liaise with purchasing department to provide continued feedback to ensure competitive pricing
* Introducing new vendors for carrying out our project work
* Keeping secrecy of the enquiry sources and making sure that it does not get leaked to the competition and does not get leaked in other department as well
Must be proficient with ms office, auto cad
Diploma / BE Mechanical engineering is a must
