Role Description:
The Sales and Application Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. This role involves identifying customer needs, presenting suitable cutting tool solutions, and driving sales growth across target industries. Day-to-day responsibilities include visiting customer sites, conducting technical discussions, preparing proposals and quotations, and providing application support for tooling selection and optimization. The role also includes troubleshooting performance issues, coordinating trials, collecting feedback, and collaborating with the design and production teams to meet customer requirements. The Sales and Application Engineer will maintain strong customer relationships, track market trends, and support product demonstrations, trainings, and post-sales technical support. Qualifications:
- Candidates should possess skills in Sales Engineering and Sales, with the ability to understand customer requirements and convert them into business opportunities.
- Candidates should possess skills in Mechanical Engineering and Technical Support, with experience in tooling applications and industrial manufacturing environments.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Mechanical Engineering where relevant to machine tools, automation, or integrated production systems.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and customers.
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field; exposure to cutting tools or metal cutting processes is highly beneficial.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, machining parameters, and process layouts; familiarity with CNC machining is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel within the region for customer visits and on-site support; valid authorization to work in India.
- Proficiency in basic office and CRM software, along with strong organizational and time-management skills.
