Your Job

As a Sales and Application Engineer - Boiler Burners, you will develop technical and commercial solutions for customers across the EMEAI region. Based in Navi Mumbai, you will work with customers in refineries and petrochemical plants to understand their needs, recommend burner products and technologies, and shape commercial strategies. This role combines customer engagement with the preparation of proposals and the qualification of new opportunities.

Our Team

You will work with the boiler burner sales and applications team and collaborate with regional commercial and order-execution colleagues to support customer opportunities across EMEAI.

What You Will Do

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Develop technical and commercial proposals for boiler burner opportunities within agreed timelines.

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Build customer relationships, understand operating needs, and recommend suitable burner products and technologies.

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Qualify opportunities by assessing project scope, timing, funding, customer history, and the appropriate use of application resources.

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Define commercial considerations, including sourcing restrictions, local-content requirements, budgets, terms and conditions, competitors, and customer decision processes.

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Participate in customer visits and collaborate with regional commercial and application teams on technical proposals.

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Partner with business groups and order-execution teams to resolve technical, commercial, or financial issues.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 University degree in mechanical or chemical engineering.

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Experience preparing technical and commercial proposals for industrial equipment or engineered products.

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Experience working directly with customers on technical or commercial requirements.

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Professional working proficiency in written and spoken English.

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Ability to travel for customer or project meetings as required.

What Will Put You Ahead

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Sales experience with an OEM, EPC contractor, or end user.

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Experience with burners or other process equipment.

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Build commercial knowledge through exposure to pricing, proposal strategy, contract terms, and customer negotiations.

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 developing an understanding of different markets and business requirements.

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Develop the ability to balance technical solutions with customer needs and commercial outcomes.
