Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and technically skilled Sales & Service Engineer responsible for driving sales, providing technical support, and ensuring efficient installation and servicing of temperature control equipment such as refrigerated circulators, chillers, ovens, incubators, and environmental chambers.
Key Responsibilities:Sales Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in research labs, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and industrial sectors
- Promote and sell temperature control instruments to clients
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and tender submissions
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and generate repeat business
- Coordinate with distributors and channel partners
Service & Technical Responsibilities:
- Installation, commissioning, and calibration of instruments at customer sites
- Troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of equipment
- Provide after-sales technical support and training to customers
- Handle service complaints and ensure timely resolution
- Maintain service reports, calibration records, and documentation
- Support internal teams with technical expertise
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of temperature control systems, refrigeration cycles, PID controllers.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to diagnose technical issues and provide solutions
- Willingness to travel extensively
Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Instrumentation / Electrical Engineering
- 15 years of experience in lab equipment, process instruments, or similar industry (Freshers with strong technical knowledge may apply)
