Role Overview
The Sales & Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving business growth by identifying, engaging, and closing opportunities with new and existing clients. This role focuses on bringing new logos (new client acquisitions), managing sales pipelines, generating leads, and delivering technology solutions aligned with client requirements.
The specialist will work across technology consulting, IT services, and digital solutions, ensuring revenue targets are achieved on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and client accounts (new logos).
- Develop relationships with decision-makers, stakeholders, and procurement teams.
- Understand client requirements and propose tailored technology solutions.
- Expand company presence across industries and markets.
2. Sales Pipeline & Revenue Management
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools.
- Track opportunities and progress through the sales lifecycle.
- Ensure consistent achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Prepare sales forecasts and performance reports.
3. Client Requirements & Solution Alignment
- Analyze client needs related to:
- IT infrastructure
- Software solutions
- Cloud services
- Technical consulting
- Managed services
- Work with technical teams and solution architects to deliver the right technology solutions.
4. Proposal Development & Documentation
Prepare and manage various business and sales artifacts including:
- Sales presentations
- Solution proposals
- Bulk spreadsheets for pricing or solution comparison
- Client artifacts and documentation
- Zendesk tickets and support coordination
- Procurement documentation
- Contracts and Statements of Work (SOW)
5. Marketing & Lead Generation
- Support marketing campaigns and lead generation initiatives.
- Participate in webinars, events, industry networking, and technology showcases.
- Work with marketing teams on content, case studies, and promotional materials.
- Promote company capabilities in technology consulting and IT services.
6. Client Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and partners.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through timely responses and support coordination.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or related field
Experience
- 38 years in technology sales, IT consulting sales, or enterprise solutions sales.
