Sales & Business Development Manager

Pacific International has been retained by a global leader in the Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics industry. Known for its strong heritage and reputation for reliability, the company delivers innovative, state-of-the-art power connector solutions for demanding environments.

As part of its growth strategy, the organization is seeking a Sales &Business Development Manager for the Pan-India region, based in Gurugram. This role will focus on analysing the E-Mobility markets, developing and promoting a product portfolio aligned with customer needs, and managing it throughout its lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling high-volume premium-priced components, building effective sales channels in the e-mobility sector, and travelling extensively across India to maximise opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market analysis to assess norms, size, and segmentation, building a strong business case for growth through automotive OEMs, battery manufacturers, charger companies, and wiring harness suppliers
• Win new logo clients and develop existing customer accounts
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and seminars to showcase solutions and strengthen brand presence
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to anticipate trends and inform strategic decisions
• Collaborate with global marketing teams to design and execute region-specific campaigns and initiatives
• Identify and optimise sales channels to support international growth objectives
• Develop distributor relationships and skillset

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of high-volume component sales experience in the e-mobility or automotive space
• Bachelor's degree in ElectricalEngineering or equivalent technical qualification
• Strong business development capabilities with experience developing regional or territory plans
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills; fluent in English (written and spoken)
• High cultural awareness and ability to operate effectively in diverse environments
• Drive collaboration between marketing, engineering and customers to improve the value proposition
• Knowledge of high-power interconnect solutions for Battery, Charger, and Wire Harness markets
• Proven success in business development within defined territories, including distributor and integrator channels
• Preferably, experience working within a US OR European business environment
