Job Description

Sales Account Manager - Cybersecurity

Location: Bangalore

Company: Tecplix

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Account Manager with strong experience in enterprise cybersecurity sales and account management. The ideal candidate should have prior exposure to selling cybersecurity products, managed security services, and consulting-led engagements to enterprise customers.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Enterprise Sales
  • Identify, develop, and manage enterprise accounts across various industries.
  • Drive end-to-end sales cycles including prospecting, client meetings, solution positioning, proposal submissions, negotiations, and closures.
  • Build strong relationships with CXOs, CISOs, IT Heads, Security Teams, and procurement stakeholders.
  • Generate new business opportunities for cybersecurity products and managed services.
  • Account Management
  • Manage and grow existing customer relationships through strategic engagement.
  • Understand customer business challenges and align cybersecurity solutions accordingly.
  • Coordinate with technical, pre-sales, and delivery teams for solution design and execution.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Mandatory Requirements)

  • 3–5 years of experience in enterprise cybersecurity sales or account management.
  • Prior experience in selling cybersecurity solutions and services to enterprise customers.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • EDR/XDR solutions
  • SOC & Managed SOC Services
  • NG Firewall solutions
  • VAPT services
  • GRC and compliance frameworks
  • Cyber Consulting engagements
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and revenue growth.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to engage with decision-makers and technical stakeholders.

 

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
  • MBA in Sales/Marketing will be an added advantage.
