Role Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Showroom Sales Executive to drive retail sales at our furniture showroom in Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in selling modular kitchens, wardrobes, furniture, and mattresses, along with a strong understanding of customer requirements and space solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend walk-in customers and provide end-to-end sales assistance within the showroom
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable modular kitchen, wardrobe, furniture, and mattress solutions
  • Prepare quotations, layouts, and proposals in coordination with the design team
  • Demonstrate product features, materials, finishes, and customization options
  • Convert leads into sales and achieve monthly sales targets
  • Maintain strong follow-ups with customers for closures and post-sale service

Lead Generation & Marketing:

  • Generate leads through digital platforms (social media inquiries, website leads, WhatsApp, etc.)
  • Actively participate in and support BTL (Below-the-Line) activities such as local promotions, society activations, kiosks, and events
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on ongoing campaigns, offers, and promotional activities
  • Build and maintain a local network for referrals (architects, interior designers, contractors, brokers)
  • Track and manage leads in CRM and ensure timely follow-ups and conversions

Operations & Coordination:

  • Coordinate with internal teams (design, operations, installation) for smooth order execution
  • Ensure showroom display is well-maintained and aligned with brand standards
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, market trends, and competitor offerings

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: 2–5 years in furniture retail sales (mandatory)
  • Proven experience in modular kitchen and wardrobe sales is highly preferred
  • Exposure to mattress and home furniture sales will be an added advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (English, Hindi, Bengali preferred)
  • Basic understanding of layouts, measurements, and interior concepts
  • Target-driven with a customer-first approach
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office 

Preferred Profile:

  • Candidates from furniture brands, modular kitchen studios, or interior solution companies
  • Experience in handling premium or mid-segment clientele
  • Ability to understand design aesthetics and suggest practical solutions

Working Hours:

  • Retail schedule (including weekends; weekly off on weekdays)
