SailPoint IIQ Engineer
Role Overview
As a SailPoint IIQ Engineer at Indigrators, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing
enterprise identity governance solutions. You will collaborate closely with security, HRIS, IT, and application
teams to streamline access provisioning, strengthen governance controls, automate workflows, and enhance
overall identity lifecycle management.
Responsibilities and Deliverables
Configure, customize, and implement SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) solutions.
Develop workflows, rules, tasks, and reports within SailPoint IIQ.
Build and maintain IIQ connectors across diverse applications and systems.
Design and manage certification campaigns, roles, and policies.
Integrate SailPoint IIQ with Active Directory, Azure AD, and HRIS platforms (Workday, Oracle HCM, etc.).
Enable automated identity lifecycle processesonboarding, offboarding, access updates.
Manage and optimize enterprise-level permission models (RBAC/ABAC).
Support periodic and event-driven user access reviews and recertification campaigns.
Identify and mitigate risks through strong governance and compliance controls.
Develop custom scripts using Java, JavaScript, or BeanShell to extend IIQ functionality.
Work with APIs (REST/SOAP) to integrate identity data from HRIS and other systems.
Perform SQL-based data analysis for access patterns, discrepancies, and reporting.
Troubleshoot access issues, resolve integration failures, and improve system performance.
Collaborate with IT, HR, security, and compliance teams.
Organizational Alignment
Reports to the Identity & Access Management Lead / Security Engineering Manager.
Works closely with Security, HR Technology, Infrastructure, and Application teams.
Technical Proficiencies
Strong hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ).
Proficiency in Java development and scripting (BeanShell / JavaScript).
Solid understanding of Active Directory and Azure AD.
Experience integrating IIQ with HRIS systems.
Knowledge of IGA principles, RBAC, ABAC, and least-privilege models.
Experience with user access reviews and certification workflows.
SQL proficiency for identity data analysis.
Experience working with REST/SOAP APIs.

Experience in Agile environments is a plus.

Experience
5 8 years of experience in IAM/SailPoint IIQ Engineering.
Strong background in Java development.
Hands-on integration experience with HRIS, AD, and enterprise systems.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
Additional Job Details
Work Model: Hybrid, with 23 days per week working from the Bangalore office.
Interview Process: 34 rounds of technical discussions.
Work Shift: General day shift.
Start Date: Immediate joiners are preferred.
