Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) Engineer with deep hands‑on expertise in SailPoint IIQ implementation, customization, and enterprise IAM best practices. The ideal candidate will have proven experience delivering complex IAM solutions using workflows, rules, certifications, and integrations, along with strong Java, SQL, and Unix skills. Exposure to SailPoint cloud offerings and relevant certifications is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) solutions for enterprise IAM requirements
• Lead end‑to‑end IIQ implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
• Develop and customize:
  • Workflows
  • Rules (Before/AfterOperation, Validation, Aggregation, Custom Correlation, Certification rules, etc.)
  • Lifecycle Manager (LCM) processes
  • Access Certifications (Manager, Application Owner, Role, Event‑based)
• Implement and manage:
  • Account aggregation and correlation logic
  • Provisioning and de‑provisioning workflows
  • Role and entitlement modeling
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of IIQ issues across UI, workflows, rules, connectors, and database layers
• Work on standard and custom connectors
• Develop and maintain Java-based extensions and custom integrations
• Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting, troubleshooting, and performance analysis
• Support IIQ deployments in Unix/Linux environments
• Ensure adherence to IAM best practices, security standards, and audit requirements
• Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
• Support audits, compliance reviews, and production issues as needed

Required Technical Skills

SailPoint IdentityIQ (Must Have)

• 6-10 years total with relevant hands‑on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ
• Strong expertise in:
  • IIQ Architecture & Data Model
  • Workflows, Rules, Certifications, LCM
  • Custom connectors and integrations
  • Debugging and performance tuning
• Solid understanding of IAM concepts: Access Governance, RBAC, SoD, Joiner‑Mover‑Leaver (JML)

Programming & Platforms

• Strong Java (custom rules, integrations, debugging)
• Strong SQL (queries, joins, performance troubleshooting)
• Unix/Linux commands, scripting, log analysis
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs is a plus

Desired / Good to Have Skills

• SailPoint cloud knowledge (IdentityNow / SailPoint Atlas)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) in IAM context
• Experience with:
  • Application onboarding at scale
  • Large enterprise IAM environments
  • Identity governance compliance requirements (SOX, SOC, etc.)

Certifications (Add‑On / Preferred)

• SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer
• SailPoint Certified IdentityNow Engineer
• Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) - IAM focused certifications preferred

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and lead complex deliverables
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams (Security, Infra, App Owners)
