Sailpoint Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Security Engineer /SailPoint Developer with deep expertise inSailPoint IdentityNow to join our Identity & Access Management (IAM) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and integration ofSailPoint IdentityNow with enterprise systems such as Workday, ServiceNow, and other cloud or on-prem applications to support identity lifecycle management, compliance, and access governance.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and implement IAM solutions usingSailPoint IdentityNow, including lifecycle management, provisioning, and access reviews.

Develop and maintain integration connectors with applications such as Workday, ServiceNow, Active Directory, and other cloud/on-prem platforms.

Configure and maintain Identity Cubes by integrating with authoritative sources (e.g., Workday) for automated user onboarding/offboarding.

Develop and implement access request workflows using IdentityNow and integrate approval processes with ServiceNow.

Implement role-based access control (RBAC) based on attributes such as department, job title, or employment status.

Create and manage custom rules, connectors, and transforms withinSailPoint.

Conduct unit testing, UAT, and go-live support to ensure stable deployment of new IAM functionalities.

Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, Security, and HR to gather requirements and implement identity governance controls.

Perform regular access certification campaigns and ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulations.

Maintain and troubleshootSailPoint jobs, workflows, and configurations.

Document processes, configurations, and integration details for operational transparency and audit readiness.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience.

4+ years of hands-on experience implementing and managingSailPoint IdentityNow in a production environment.

Strong experience integrating IdentityNow with Workday (authoritative source) and ServiceNow (access request & approval workflows).

In-depth understanding of identity lifecycle events, identity cubes, andSailPoint provisioning architecture.

Experience developing customSailPoint components (e.g., rules, transforms, connectors).

Familiarity with identity governance concepts: RBAC, access reviews, policy violation remediation.

Solid understanding of directory services (Active Directory, Azure AD) and federation protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).

Proficient in scripting languages such as Beanshell, PowerShell, or Python.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience integratingSailPoint with cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.

Exposure to CyberArk or other PAM tools in the context of IAM.

Relevant certifications:SailPoint Certified IdentityNow Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Security Engineer, or similar.

Working knowledge of ServiceNow APIs and architecture.

Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in IAM development.
