SailPoint Engineer - Identity IQ

Must-Haves:
- Strong hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (on-prem, customized environments)
- Expertise in SailPoint objects, workflows, rules, access request flows, and IdentityIQ architecture
- Core Java development experience (collections, backend logic)
- Proven experience with application and connector integrations
- Experience running full SailPoint deployments and post-deployment optimization
- Hands-on experience with API-based integrations and provisioning workflows
- Ability to ramp up quickly with minimal training

Job Description:
Seeking a Senior SailPoint IdentityIQ Engineer for a top insurance industry client. This consultant will support the development, optimization, and management of enterprise SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions, with a strong focus on application integrations and Zero Trust security initiatives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on SailPoint developer who can quickly ramp up, work independently in a complex environment, and contribute immediately to ongoing identity governance projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale, security-focused initiatives within a globally distributed team.
Day-to-Day:
- Develop and maintain SailPoint workflows, rules, and custom objects
- Lead application onboarding and integrations into SailPoint
- Support identity lifecycle management (access requests, provisioning, workforce identity)
- Optimize existing SailPoint implementations for performance and usability
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to align identity governance with security policies
- Support Zero Trust initiatives through identity governance integrations
- Conduct assessments and provide deployment and optimization recommendations
- Troubleshoot and resolve SailPoint-related technical issues
- Participate in workshops and training sessions for stakeholders
- Monitor system performance and recommend continuous improvements
