SailPoint Developer

About Position:

We are looking for a Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) with strong experience in Identity & Access Governance (IGA). This role involves working closely with customers to understand IAM requirements, designing scalable IGA solutions, and leading complex implementations. The candidate will play a key role in architecture design, system integrations, and ensuring seamless delivery of IGA programs while mentoring and guiding the team. The position requires deep technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a strong understanding of end-to-end identity lifecycle processes.

What You'll Do:

• Interact with customers to understand IAM requirements and existing business processes
• Design Identity Management infrastructure and complex IGA processes and integrations
• Prepare high-level and low-level design documents
• Translate architecture designs into detailed component-level specifications
• Identify and implement IGA customizations aligned with business requirements
• Own end-to-end IGA system integration and ensure timely delivery of development tasks
• Collaborate with IT security, network, application, and operations teams for integrations
• Troubleshoot complex issues and resolve system-level challenges
• Assign, monitor, and review deliverables from team members
• Drive best practices in SailPoint IIQ implementation and governance processes

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 5 to 16 years of IT experience with strong focus on SailPoint IdentityIQ (v8.3 / v8.4)
• Proven experience in at least 2 SailPoint IIQ implementations
• Deep understanding of IGA processes including identity lifecycle, access requests, certifications, and RBAC
• Hands-on expertise in application onboarding, provisioning, workflows, access reviews, quick links, and lifecycle events
• Strong experience in customizing IIQ UI, workflows, approval processes, and certifications
• Experience working with IGA connectors (AD, O365, LDAP, Database, Web Services, custom connectors)
• Strong development experience including SailPoint APIs, Java, and REST APIs
• Experience with other IGA tools such as Saviynt, Oracle Identity Manager
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
• Strong ownership mindset with delivery focus and leadership capability
