Sailpoint Developer

Core Responsibilities

Designing and Implementing IAM/IGA Solutions: Using SailPoint, design, implement, and maintain IAM/IGA solutions that meet the organization's specific needs and security requirements.

Application Onboarding: Integrating new applications into the SailPoint platform, defining access policies, and ensuring seamless user access.

Workflow Automation: Automating user provisioning, deprovisioning, and other identity lifecycle management processes to improve efficiency.

Access Policy Configuration: Defining and enforcing access control policies based on role-based access control (RBAC), least privilege principle, and segregation of duties (SoD).

Access Reviews and Audits: Conducting periodic access reviews and audits to ensure compliance and identify potential security risks.

Integration with Other Systems: Integrating SailPoint with other enterprise systems to ensure smooth data exchange and workflow.

Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Diagnosing and resolving technical issues within the SailPoint environment.

Staying Updated: Keeping abreast of the latest SailPoint features, technologies, and industry best practices.

Additional Skills and Experience:

• IAM Principles and Technologies: A strong understanding of IAM concepts, principles, and technologies.
• Programming Languages: Experience with programming languages like Java can be beneficial, especially when integrating with other systems.
• Security Knowledge: Knowledge of security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues. SailPoint Certifications: SailPoint certifications, such as SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer is preferred.
• Experience with other IAM platforms (e.g. Okta): Experience with other IAM platforms can be a plus.
