| About Structured Assets Group (SAG) | |||||
SAG manages stressed assets for corporates with group exposure of Rs 5 crore and above, which includes both Non-Performing Assets (NPAs) and standard accounts which require special attention due to the critical nature of the account, i.e., probable NPAs, borrowers facing business difficulty, borrowers having persistent DPD/irregularities, Early Warning Signal (EWS) accounts, accounts of same group where the NPAs are handled by SAG etc. The department is focused on resolution and recovery in stressed accounts and NPAs and manages the entire lifecycle of the stressed account once it is migrated into SAG from the Business teams, from handover of accounts, to the final resolution/recovery. | |||||
| About the Role | |||||
Head a team of resolution professions and Legal officers engaged in managing and resolution of Stressed Assets of the Bank. Pro-actively develop strategies for handling the Stressed Assets in order to prevent losses and maximize recovery, and to ensure their implementation, as well as managing the team. Responsible for restructuring/resolution of Stressed Assets within the Banks loan portfolio of diverse size and complexity in compliance with all applicable internal and external laws, rules, regulation, policies and procedures. | |||||

Recovery in Live NPA, Written off NPA Employ various methods for resolution of accounts Effective take-over of accounts allotted from the business team upon the downgrade of the account Effective use of Legal methods for maximizing the recovery for the Bank Monitoring of the account and engaging the services third party vendors like valuer, auditors etc. for effective monitoring of the account Knowledge updation/Compliance Qualifications Education/ Qualification Required: Bachelor's degree in Banking, Economics, Accounting or Business administration or related fields. Preferred: Master's degree in Banking and Finance, Management, or any related field CFA or any similar certification Experience Required: Total of 12-15 years of experience in Banking, assets management, relationship, risk management areas, remedial, restructuring, etc. Role Proficiencies: In-depth technical knowledge of wholesale banking Strong understanding of financial statements, modeling and cash flow analysis Strategically minded with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Outstanding communication, interpersonal abilities, negotiation and presentation skills Credit and remedial management training Excellent organizational and managerial expertise |
