Job Description

  • OE Processes typically executed by, or referenced by, safety specialists at ABU:
  • Control of Work (specifically, application of Control of Work Manuals, Procedures, Standards and the TCC) (clarification required on OE process advisor aspects such as ePTW tool support CoW champions meeting)
  • Common OE Expectations:
  • Contractor OE Management (COEM)
  • Fitness for Duty
  • Risk Management (specifically, HAZIDs, ALARPs, KDS)
  • Legal, Regulatory and OE Compliance
  • OE Assurance (specifically Safeguard Assurance)
  • Incident Investigation and Reporting
  • Human and Organizational Performance
  • Emergency Management (specifically, Rescue Plans as part of Critical Control Plans)
  • Competency Assurance and Development (specifically, confirming and validating contractor training requirements, using MyPass)
  • Dangerous Goods (specifically, understanding scopes of work that require chemicals to support (eg LIN) or hazardous wastes that are produced, to identify dangerous goods licensing requirements
  • motor vehicle safety (eg scope specific traffic management plans)
