Description
Develops, maintains, and communicates strategies, policies, and initiatives to enhance safety of flight operations of Boeing products and services. Researches, develops, analyzes, and assesses safety and regulatory data, trends, and developments for impact to Boeing products and services. Influences safety of flight operations initiatives through application of specialized technical expertise in airspace operations, human factors, air navigation, customer operations, safety management, policy, or regulatory domains. Collaborates with external stakeholders (customers, regulators, industry, and external organizations) to identify safety and airworthiness issues and develops and implements solutions. Addresses safety and regulatory technical inquiries and requests from internal and external stakeholders. Supports the investigation of organizational and external factors contributing to product safety of flight operations issues. Supports development, deployment and implementation of safety and regulatory policy, standards, and guidance. Advocates internally and externally for safety and regulatory enhancements to support Boeing products and services. Provides technical guidance and training regarding product safety of flight operations matters. Acts as a mentor and trainer for Safety management and safety risk management and is proficient to an expert level in organizational software tools for safety risk management.
