Job Summary:We are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to ensure a safe working environment at our construction sites. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific safety plans and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations at construction sites.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Identify potential hazards and take corrective/preventive actions.
- Provide safety training and toolbox talks to workers and staff.
- Ensure proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare detailed reports.
- Maintain safety records, documentation, and reports.
- Coordinate with project managers and site teams to promote a safety-first culture.
- Ensure emergency preparedness and response planning at site.
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Safety Management or relevant field.
- Certification in Industrial Safety (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent observation and hazard identification skills.
- Good communication and training abilities.
- Ability to handle emergency situations effectively.
Experience:- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in real estate/construction projects.
