Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Safety Officer role based in Jaisalmer. The Safety Officer will oversee daily safety protocols, ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, and conduct routine assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards. Additional responsibilities include leading safety training programs, investigating workplace incidents, and fostering a culture of safety across all levels of the organization. Active collaboration with departments to implement effective safety practices is vital.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Health & Safety protocols and Occupational Health standards
- Experience in Accident Investigation and developing preventive measures
- Expertise in Safety Training, including creating and delivering effective safety programs
- Understanding and application of Security procedures to ensure a secure workplace
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety or related fields is a plus
- Previous experience in a similar role in construction, manufacturing, or industrial settings is advantageous
