Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Safety Officer role based in Kolar. The Safety Officer will monitor workplace conditions, conduct regular safety inspections, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Responsibilities include identifying hazards, recommending corrective actions, and supporting risk assessments for machinery and industrial processes. The role involves delivering safety training sessions, maintaining safety documentation and incident records, and coordinating accident investigations when required. The Safety Officer will also collaborate with operations, HR, and security teams to promote a strong safety culture and support emergency preparedness plans.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Health & Safety and Occupational Health knowledge, including understanding of industrial safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Candidates should possess skills in Accident Investigation and incident reporting, with the ability to analyze root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Candidates should possess experience in Security and workplace safety oversight, including monitoring compliance and supporting emergency response procedures.
• Candidates should possess Safety Training skills, with the ability to design and deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and refresher sessions for staff.
• Relevant diploma or degree in safety management, industrial safety, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Certifications in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Strong communication and documentation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively on the shop floor.
• Experience in manufacturing or machinery-based environments and familiarity with Indian safety regulations will be beneficial.
