Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Safety Officer based in Coimbatore. The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and managing health and safety protocols across the facility to ensure a secure working environment. Key tasks include conducting safety training programs, investigating workplace incidents, ensuring compliance with occupational health regulations, overseeing workplace security measures, and promoting a culture of safety awareness among employees. Regular audits and risk assessments are integral to the role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Health & Safety and Occupational Health principles and practices
• Experience in Accident Investigation and implementing preventive measures
• Strong competency in Security management and maintaining a safe work environment
• Capability to conduct comprehensive Safety Training programs for employees
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Certifications in workplace safety, such as NEBOSH or OSHA, are advantageous
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related fields
• Familiarity with local and international safety regulations and standards
