Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Safety Officer (HSE) located in Mumbai. The Safety Officer will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Day-to-day tasks include conducting safety inspections, developing and implementing safety protocols, investigating accidents or incidents, and preparing detailed reports. The Safety Officer will also provide safety training to employees, promote a culture of safety, and collaborate with various departments to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Health & Safety and Occupational Health standards
- Skills in Accident Investigation and identifying preventative measures
- Ability to plan and deliver Safety Training sessions effectively
- Understanding of basic Security protocols and practices
- Knowledge of local health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are a plus
- Previous experience in a similar role within construction, manufacturing, or related industries is preferred
