We are seeking an experienced Safety Officer to join our team in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy working environment by implementing safety policies, conducting audits, and providing training to employees.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of the workplace to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to promote a safe working environment.
Provide training and education to employees on safety practices and emergency procedures.
Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare reports on safety performance and suggest improvements to management.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in a safety officer role or similar position.
Knowledge of local safety regulations and standards in India.
Certification in Safety Management or Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
